Tasting notes
Medium to dark purple with purple hues.
Fragrant red fruits with strawberries, florals and a hint of coffee. A creamy red fruit entry of strawberries and currants, pretty and well balanced with powdery tannins and a long sweet fruit finish.
Food match: Beef, lamb and duck with cherries
Wine making notes
The fruit was hand harvested on the 21st March 2018 and was de-stemmed into an open top stainless steel tank. Fermentation carried out by select yeast until the wine was dry. The wine was aged in French Oak barriques for almost 13 months, of which 25% was new oak.
