Central Stories is the main public Museum and Art Gallery for the Central Otago region. There are exhibitions on early settlement, gold mining, gold dredging, geology and an indoor enclosure for live Otago Skinks. The Good Art Shop features exclusive and quality artworks and bespoke quality craft items. Raising funds is crucial for the ongoing operation of Central Stories which preserves the history of this area and provides a place for modern day artists to exhibit their work. Three Miners assists Central Stories through membership, goods donations and supporting exhibition openings with wine. I love this partnership and have met some wonderful artists.
